The Seasons Poem by Marilyn Lott

The Seasons

Rating: 5.0

It is the time of year for changes
And excitement fills the air
As autumn comes our way
Soon many trees are completely bare.

But before that happens we see
Reds, yellows and golds
Fall flowers as well will bloom
Their colors are bright and bold.

We can feel a chill in the air now
Birds gather to take their flight
Daytime does not last long
Much sooner we see the night.

But holidays are ‘round the corner
Children thrilled by what to wear
For Halloween is almost here
Their costumes they love to share.

You say you are not excited, friends?
I have given you several reasons
To look around with wonder
At Mother Nature and God's seasons!
