The Sea's Poem by Gerard Woods

The Sea's

Tide in tide out
Ebb and flow of the sea
And that's how
It will always be
And the moon from
Where it sit's
Controls it all
From the spring to the fall

Tide in tide out
Each drop of water
Trying to get to the shore
Faster than the other
And quicker than before
Laying in the sun
Since time began
You have seen so many
Setting sun's so many wars
The latter being fought
On your salty sandy shores
