The Rose Tender Poem by Ravi Joshi

The Rose Tender

I saw you in your rose garden;
Tending roses with loving care;
Resplendent in red and yellow dress;
As if made by the petals of the roses;

The morning glow dazzled the bangles you wore;
Reflecting the rose colors galore;
The wind rustled your hair;
As if they were chimes at your door;

‘Hi' you said, ‘Would you like a rose? '
‘No', I said, ‘I'd love the rose tender instead.'
