The Rose Poem by Venkatesh Raghava

The Rose

Heart ached at the beauty,
Blossoming of crimson bud;

Feast before my eyes,
Attracting me to get close.

The pristine charm to possess
Was my intrinsic wish,

But thorns pricked the desire,
And made me aware.

Nature beauty in its place
Serves beings in many ways:

Bee’s, butterflies and us.
Gaze and share the entity,

As the joy and the peace proximity
Moments are for eternity.
