The Rocks Poem by Vera Sidhwa

The Rocks

I drove over rocks,
And reached destinations,
Beyond what I expected.
The edge of a cliff.

I drove over rocks,
And bumped my truck,
Over more rocks,
Yes, more obstacles in the way.

I drove over rocks,
And realized how much fun I was having,
Jolting and rocking my truck to and fro,
When I reached my destination.

Me.
