An opportunity by providence
Took me to the city of Tirucchi
In the southern state of Tamil Nadu
The pride of the city is Rock Fort temple
That confers the name of Rock Fort City
The rocks date back to thousands of years
A sign for culture of Vedic vision
Rows of steep steps to climb to the top
For reaching the abode of the Lord who tops all
He is Ganesa who presides and decides
A glimpse of the God drives out all our strife
Spirituality is not the only goal
Climbing up and down every day
Trims the body and tones the mind
Pilgrims and tourists throng in thousands
To visit the temple through out the day
The place is serene, surroundings are pleasant
Request all to race for His grace
