The Roadto Love Poem by Esnala Banda

The Roadto Love

To open up, is to be set free,
They say to love is to live.
You can love two or you can love three,
... Love yourself and you can love me.

The road to love is not easy,
It can be quiet, or really quite busy.
Filled with yes, no and even maybe,
Nothing is definite everything is risky.

love maybe as clear as day,
Though sometimes obstacles may stand in your way.
Sweet as the flowers in the spring sway,
About love; there's only so much one can say.

They say 'all is fair in love and war',
butwhen it hurts, do you know what you're fighting for?
Are you running in or out of that open door?
Do you want less or do you want more?

How much hurt can you withstand?
And is it worth it when you can't understand?
in the end, is all aboyut who has the upper hand?
Is it all about witches and wizards and who has the most powerful wand?

If loving and liking are the soloace of life,
Why don't we stop thinking 'it's for me and mine'?
Is it after all, worth ouer while?
It's our call as wwe walk together mile after mile.
