The Road Taken Poem by Tsegaye Hailesilassie

The Road Taken

I a plain I knew not I was dropped
With the four ways at hand
And within the four there may be more.

I was puzzled to choose one
Knowing something about none
But there came an object in the sky
Him only I saw
And followed the only guide
Believing in it to take me there
There where all is right
Mighty peaceful and truly quiet

But the other roads I don’t want to think about
For deep in my soul
I believe and know that the guide is right

Inspired by Robert Frost's 'the road not taken.'
