Than the way they seemed to be
You're eyes are slowly opening
But you're not sure you want to see

You're feeling much confusion
About your purpose on this earth
And all the things you took for granted
Are the only things with worth

The road has many travelers
It's for sure you're not alone
Some are walking backwards
Some are going home

You go looking for some comfort
You're just trying to get by
But the wine is tasting bitter
And it don't even get you high

And all your favorite super heros
That you thought were o so cool
Lost their costumes and their make up
Now you're feeling like a fool
