' The River Of My Dreams ' Poem by Yamini Khanna

' The River Of My Dreams '

The glistening tears, that once were the river of dreams
became a mirror now to reflect the wild passions unceased
how could you then, take her in your arms, and embrace her amourous
kissing her fondly and passionately making love languorous

the river of dreams that you sailed on was filled up of my tears
your love boat sailed unabashedly and without remorse and fear
my hair on your shoulder from the night before,
Her ravenous hair the next day on your fingers you bore
your addiction on new found amour rather whimsical
where did ' Our ' love go, so magical so mystical?

Forgotten I have how to air breathe
forgotten I have how to hold your hands without letting out a heart's shriek
Forgotten I have what throwing myself in your arms means
forgotten I have what tasting your lips mean

Turn back the time, for you owe me
My glistening tears, that once were the river of ' Our ' dreams
witchcraft so fine, she possesses all that was once Mine
breathing, loving, walking and trusting... to be relearned and redefined

Would this ever be the same again, I ask throwing my hands above
My ' ailing SOUL ' replies... but I ADORE I ADORE! ! !
