The River Poem by Elannia Lake

The River

Flowing, running, never ceasing
Sometimes calm as she can be
Still and smiling
Content to pass by the waving trees

But other days she’s angry
Beating relentlessly against the rocks
Loud and screaming
It seems like she will never stop

Foaming at the mouth
Crazy she seems
Crashing all around
She will swallow you

Then all of a sudden she’s calm again
Sweet and inviting to all
Asking you to come and swim
But be warned, she changes fast
And her moods could cost you your life

Just like ladies, isn't it? I like your simple wording.
