The Right To Swallow Another Guy's Rock Poem by Ramona Thompson

The Right To Swallow Another Guy's Rock

All our lives we've been fighting
For the right to stand by our men
Screaming our same sex anthem it seems in vain
To the straight world
All we really wanna do is have that same power
The power and the right to do as they do
To fall in love, wed and bed
Out in public don't wanna be thrown dirty looks at no more
Just for the simple act of holding another guy's hand
Wanna do it all the way
Anyway we like
On our own terms
Prove to you one and all
Just cause we're gay
That don't mean we don't have balls
Fighting for justice against this injustice
It's not just the human way
Baby, it's the American way

You got it, boyz-The right to swallow another guy's rock
We've got it, gentlemen-The right to swallow another guy's rock
Don't let anyone tell you how to live your sex life
If you want to
Than with your boyfriends feel free to get your rocks off
Don't even let 'em try to tear or keep you down
'Cause it's your right to live your own kind of private life
Always keep fighting for your sexual freedoms
No fair all those homophobic haters trying to bend that golden rule
Got the right to say you're gay and proud
Who died and made them God anyway
