The Right Religion Poem by Kevin Forbes

The Right Religion

Rating: 5.0

Three enemies argued every day; all different religions in their crew
"Jesus, " cried the Catholic, "Muhammad, " cried the Muslim, "Moses, " cried the Jew
"Let us wait and see then, for our deaths, and ask the Lord who is right! "
All three were attacked by animals and died the next night.
The three men walked through the afterlife and were greeted by God
They asked Him their question, and he thought it was odd.
"It does not matter who you chose, or who you should,
All that really matters is that you are good."

Charity towards the uncharitable and upholding the virtue of love and universal brotherhood are more important than religious bigotry and zealotry. A beautiful, well articulated poem written with spiritual insight. Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem and REMAIN BLESSED. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON. I give your poem full marks.
