The Rider On The White Horse Poem by Garrett Westcott

The Rider On The White Horse

Rating: 4.0

The skies were ablaze with thunder
And all ears heard the angles shout
My mind was full of wonder
As to what this was all about
White horses filled the heavens
Led by a Rider that all eyes could see
Even the sailors of the seven
The army looked like a sea
I could feel evil cringing
From every corner of the globe
As the light was shining
As bright as the Rider's robe
The Man who led the charge
Was the Man upon the steed
Whose color was the color of ivory
And lightning was its speed
A double edge sword was drawn
The devil was brought low
As a new age dawned
The angels were in tow
The beast was filled with arrows
And thrown into the pit
That was dark as a dungeon
Yet with fire lit
The devil who deceived the nations
Was bound with a mighty chain
And thrown into the abyss
And begins the millennial reign
God has fulfilled His promise
That Jesus would return
The saints received a blessing
And evil had a hard lesson learned
