The Rescuers Poem by Philip Carter

The Rescuers

Every day they venture out
Into the stormy sea
Putting their lives in harms way
To rescue you & me
They don't get paid to do it
They do it because they care
And lots of people would have died
If they were not there
So if you have some spare change
Or some coins you do not need
Look for a lifeboat collection box
And give it a good feed.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Wrote this a while ago, but thought I'd upload it as the weather in the UK is very stormy.
