The Reminder Poem by John Hazon Palen

The Reminder

Right in this new dawn’s breaking,
I pray just one thing:
Hopefully from the dreaming,
Souls get awakened.

Everybody’s given chance;
The chance to live life,
To dwell in this paradise,
And watch the sunrise.

Nothing would be more meaningful
than seeing the morning light.
It’s the reminder for us all,
that we’re still ALIVE.

We must thank God from above.
Such gift He bestows.
Sure we’d die without His love.
Awoke persons know.
