The 'Real' Golden Girl Poem by rose higgins

you may think blond chicks' with blue eyes
are the golden girls, their not.
you may think girls with straight A's in school
are the golden girls, they mite be.
you may think girls that has problems goin on at
hom but still hold their heads up and try to do their best and try
not to get into to many fites
are the golden girls, they are.

Girls, young women (ok, guys too) , who hav
alcoholics for fathers
or drugatics for moms,
do you think they sit around all day
hopin that a miracle would happen?
do you think they misbehaive so they can
end up just lik their parents?

ok, so i'll admit it
som pple do do stupid stuff
lik suicide or drugs
but the tuff ones, the ones who can stand it
who can fite against it, no,
us golden girls, we try our best at everything and
wen things get hard
wen our mothers screams
how much they hate us
we stand their and take it.
cuz were golden girls, golden boys.

came from backgrounds jus lik this.Their tuff.]

oh, jus cuz the title says 'girls' doesnt mean it doesnt apply
to the male species.
somtims guys hav bigger problems than girls.
(i jus ddnt think it'd be cool to put 'Golden girls and guys' or vice versa)
