The Razor's Edge Poem by Ben mcelfresh

The Razor's Edge

this razor covered in blood
has lead me toward heaven's gates
how could i of let this happen
apprently i'm not worth saving
all my friends no longer care
they say they do, but look at me now
if they cared i wouldn't have these wings
the razor's edge is where i have found peace
a new beginning without the pain
the pain of this world is now a care left behind
like the care that once was for me
that died obviously
friends and family alike, no longer remember my name
to them i am a thing of the past
no longer to pester them
at the razor's edge is where i have found peace
the peace of a thousand angels
no worries follow within me any longer
i have forgotten how to worry
with this new peace, i am carefree
no longer to carry the burden that haunts me
my name once was a joy
now it is no more but a mear memory
so at this razor's edge i end my life and find a new peace.
