The Ray Of Hope Poem by Amrit Rathi

The Ray Of Hope

Rating: 5.0

Through the vales and hills, the sky and earth,
I look for thee everywhere,
but thou art with the peace there.
Day after day, I dropp in your lap
the radiant flowers of thy prayers O lord!
And I can see the ray of hope
for the growth and success in thy care.
Through the shadows of the dreams and desires
I look for thee everywhere,
but thou art with the love and relationships there.
Day after day, I dropp in your lap
the radiant flowers of thy prayers O lord!
And I can see the ray of hope
for the growth and success in thy care.

Then around the problematic world
of money, success, and achievement,
I look for thee everywhere,
but thou art with the work and people there.
Day after day, I dropp in your lap
the radiant flowers of thy prayers O lord!
And I can see the ray of hope
for the growth and success in thy care.

At last in the eternal world
of thy glory and grace,
I look for thee everywhere,
but thou art with the freedom there.
The freedom that rests into whatever I do,
surrendering my ‘doing’, the results of that ‘doing, ’
and I can see that I’m free.
Day after day, I dropp in your lap
the radiant flowers of thy prayers O lord!
And I can see the ray of hope
for the growth and success in thy care.

The power of human ambition to reach God's blessing and i shall remeber this poem as how we can sincerely submit ourselves just for HIS forgivesness. What ever religion we choose, we choose to submit ourself to be come human and not ungreatful creature which just caused destruction within. Devotion and faith shall mend and clear all the darkeness in our soul and your poem must bring back at least one human to become real servant of GOD. Excellent.

I agree with Geeta's comments totally & can't say much more than she did; as she covered all the main points you were portraying in this beautiful poem of yours. Thanks for sharing & I also give it a 10. Spiritsong

What a wonderful concept moulded into a beautiful prayer with a touch of poetry! Repetition of: Day after day, I dropp in your lap O lord! The radiant flowers of thy prayers, And I can see the Ray of Hope for the growth and success in thy care . in all four verses reiterates the fact that hope is always alive. The key words here are: peace, love, relationship, work, people, and freedom. These are the main elements that make the world go round. Once you are optimistic about acquiring all of these, what more do you really need in this world? Poems such as these are certainly 'the ray of hope' to illuminate the darkness that seems to engulf the world today. A 10+++++++ absolutely.
