The Rapport Poem by Shamsher Kendal

The Rapport

We are established as friends,
for I contribute as he spends.

We often amuse and entertain,
even sit together on weekends.

There exist several vilifiers,
in my absence he defends.

We both sense troubles ahead,
aid advances from either ends.

We empathise the laissez-fair,
well aware of the worldly trends.

We avoid the mutual lending,
even the trade and dividends.

If we comprehend a misgiving
each advances and amends.
