The Rape Of The Buds Poem by Neera Lollbeeharry

The Rape Of The Buds

Rating: 5.0

Crimson petals strewn
on a carpet soft and green,
bleed in tears, silent.

A leafy awning
spreads its maternal embrace
to shield them from shame.

The buds are defiled
their full nudity exposed
to bold groping hands.

Heartless nature smiles
enjoying the ruination
of frail innocence.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem is an assignment I got from a creative writing workshop. It describes the premature desecration of innocent buds under the impassive glance of nature.
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

The buds are defiled their full nudity exposed to bold groping hands. Heartless nature smiles enjoying the ruination of frail innocence..life, its experiences, love, expectation and cruel reality. what is love? what is? is there a romantic without cruelty.? Dev
