Nandini Bose

The rainbow girl

She flashed
out of the
ruins of
the volcanic eruption.
Eyes blazing,
scorching love
penetrating
the core of the heart;
the bumblebee
was busy
choosing a spot
for its hive,
stray silky clouds
smiled indifferently at her.
Today
Prometheus
will be unbound again
