The Rain and You & ME

All the clouds that crawl

As the raindrops fall

Gentle breeze that blows

Through the highs and lows

Ripples dance on lakes

That the rainfall makes

Golden sunshine beams

On the crystal streams

All the leaves do droop

Happy flowers group

Wet and wild they wave

Rainbow paths they pave

Birds that hide in nooks

Give us baffled looks

As we glide and slide

Muddy slopes we ride

Let's go dancing in the rain

On the green, green open plain

Want my arms to hold you close

Kiss the raindrops off your nose

All my eyes wish is to see

Just the rain and you and me

Just the rain and you and me...

We have all we need

Love's tender seed

Grows with sunshine smiles

On these rainsoaked aisles

Eyes that meet through mist

Make that magic list

Of the things that show

How the feelings flow

Through the slate gray sky

Little rays come by

Making rainbow shine

And its treasure is mine

Not a pot of gold

Like it's often told

But it's you my girl

Makes my life unfurl

Let's go dancing in the rain

On the green, green open plain

Want my arms to hold you close

Kiss the raindrops off your nose

All my eyes wish is to see

Just the rain and you and me

Just the rain and you and me...

All my eyes wish, is to see

Just the rain and you and me

Just the rain and you and me...
