The Rabbit Poem by Shouvik Roy

The Rabbit

Rating: 5.0

I had a rabbit once,
Eyes red as ruby,
Lapin like snow white
My only friend
My only light
But once in a while
In the midnight
His eyes
Would beam
Like the devil
Who rose to hail ire,
In fright,
I would paint
His eyes white,
What a delight,
Next day the rabbit died.

Unusual and a write which reminds me of my giant scottish white rabbit called blue, her eyes shone and un-edged me sometimes...im unsure of the significance of painting them white but that at least has me considering..tyvm karen
