The Quintessential Media Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Quintessential Media

The great Media made you who you are.
How ungrateful! Now, you are waging a war,
On the very news networks who give you
Phenomenal exposures and great coverage.
How deceitful! Now, you are on top of the pew.
You feel that you no longer need their courage.
How hypocritical! Now, they are the enemies.
How phantasmagoric! Now, they are the crazies.
A liar is not a good person. Lies don't stick like crazy glue.
Lies and fakes do not remain in place for too long.
Bring me the old violin so I can play a song.
The Media are not the enemies, you are. You,
Who want to change the rules like a sad oppressor;
You, who want to rule like a tyrant, like a mad dictator
