The Quest Poem by Sam Edison

The Quest

Rating: 5.0

The bard was sent on a quest
One like no other
Could he weather the storm?
Could he count on his brother?

For he questioned himself
His strength and his size
Strength from within
Lying beneath the disguise

He grasped on to his pen
For he knew of its might
Treated it like Excalibur
With such a journey in sight

Together they can travel through time
They can visit foreign lands
They can slay any beast
What a power in his hands

He now held enough confidence
For he was up for the test
With the start of a word
He set out on his quest
