The Queen Will See You Now Poem by Martin O'Neill

The Queen Will See You Now

I step from the shore and glide
On diamond turtle's backs
To the magical Kingdom Isle
Where the beautiful Queen
On Spider-Silk wings
Dances with flower sprites
And sings spells to the trees.
She smiles, takes my hand
And we waft to the Rainbow Sea
Sparkles gather at our feet,
Bearing us aloft, to the Faraway Land
Where we alight, breathless, giggling,
Happy.
I loOk into her eyes, hold her hand and say,
'Sweetheart, go and wash your hands,
It's dinner time. You can play again later.'
