The Price Of Birth Poem by Elia Michael

The Price Of Birth

Is all this worth the pain
The suffering of birth
And endless years of strain
And toil upon this earth?

There is so little mirth
Among the clouds and rain
Is this existence worth
The suffering and pain?

Were I given the chance
To come back once again
I would say no, no thanks,
Your offer is in vain.

For I can truly say,
On this unhappy earth,
The price I had to pay
Was too much for my birth.

A sad poem. Well, I think life is full of up and down. There's no straight road in life. Just keep on moving and be focused. The end is always sure. Never loose hope
