The Portuguese Kiss Poem by Marcel Aouizerate

The Portuguese Kiss

The portuguese kiss,

Even through the

Simplest caesar cipher,

Is the most powerful scent

A week from today

I am going to tell you where I am

At a certain time

Are you listening closely?

I will sit and wait

For a given amount of time

And you will either come or

You won't

And since you don't want me

To hear your voice, if you come,

You will sit either across the table

Or somewhere you can see me

And we won't speak, we will

Look at each other in peace

Across the room and then

We will leave or we will speak.
