The Point Of Ten Feet Tall Poem by derrick foster

The Point Of Ten Feet Tall

I can be ten feet tall
Even when there's no room to breathe
So stand back
Or you'll be lost in shadow
I'm above the soaring clouds
For I am a giant it comes from inside
I just fill my heart bucket
With thoughts that swell
And I think of the brightest moments
I can be ten feet tall
Make myself seem as if
I'm looking down on you
Stretch. Stretch. Stretch.
Stretch my imagination far as it will go.
I'm a giant looking over it all
Ten feet tall above it all
I love this feel
How my confidence brimming from toes to top
Energizing, rising and lifting me to the clouds
How's the air up there. Nice sweet and
Fair to midland at ten feet tall
I recommend stretching your
Thoughts and feelings
So that you too can be ten feet tall
Looking over the world and all
There's no way anyone can make you falter
At ten feet tall way up high above it all
Valor holding me aloft
Then maybe you too can see
How I experience the sights around me
Come one. Come all see the guy at ten feet tall
Oh... wait. This is all in my head.
Oh my… what a state to be in
Sometimes at ten feet tall
You can forget it all. But then
That is the point of ten feet tall.
