The Poetry Man Poem by Robert Sheridan

The Poetry Man

Thoughts from music
Meanings from words
Vital truths examined
Again and again
Never silenced – read.

Put down – metaphors
Inkwell never dries
Message too important
Quilled pen sharpened
Sword not mightier.

Named feelings penetrate
To the bone
Not enclosed cupboard
Souled and fillet
Words on display.

Fulfilling – good therapy
Touch a life
Positive/negative way
Right for yourself
Write for others.
