The Poet Walks Slowly Poem by Shalom Freedman

The Poet Walks Slowly

THE POET WALKS SLOWLY

The poet walks slowly
The dream of the world surrounds him
As Light.
He stops to write
And the words open up happily,
As if the morning and the fresh breeze
Were all there need be
Of God’s Soul.
