The Poet Poem by Vera Sidhwa

The Poet

Poem

I am a poem.
You are a poem.
They are a poem too.

But when they've behaved,
In an inconsiderate way,
Their poetry goes waylaid.

I know poetry is sacred.
It hangs on the myriad forms of the universe.
We are all a poem.
