The Pleas Of A Thief Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

The Pleas Of A Thief

The pleas of a thief,
Can pull the strings...
Of one with a forgiving heart.

And the sighs of a dysfunctional childhood,
Drop from regretting eyes...
Buckets of weeping tears.

But the pleas of a thief,
Caught disceiving in action...
Had every intention to remain a crook.
