The Pink Ribbon Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

The Pink Ribbon

Ah, you pulled the ribbon
from my hair as I ran away,
laughing...
Your smile echoed beneath
my foot steps as I ran back
to your loving, waiting, arms.
