The Piano Of Your Soul Poem by Amanda Larsen

The Piano Of Your Soul

Rating: 5.0

Eyes sealed
You don't need the light
Not here
Fingers running over every familiar key
You're home
You hear the sound before it's made
Black and white
Your mind is closed
it plays no role
This is the music of your soul
This is emotions into notes
And you have not yet looked down once

Trance
You feel your way across the stars
The unknown sword
And every smile is like a joyful careless dance
And every tear equals a whisper to a chord

Just one mistake
But it was ment
It shows the way your life was bent

Fortissimo and you break your fingers into parts
The blood will coulor white to anger
The song goes on inside your heart
The pain will match your aching sharps

But rage will give its place to sorrow
Sorrow is what you know best
As broken fingers play in minor
The sound
Your cry
blocks out the rest

Your eyes are sealed
but fail to not see what is real
Just half a pray
While you forget what you could say
And you still wonder who would stay

and listen

every lonely day
to a song you know with eyes sealed
to a song you just replay

Your ears still keep the tragic hope
for the applause that never comes
from all those empty seats

A final note hangs in the air
as you bow to all the demons
always there

A tear came running down your cheek
You tasted salt
and your stare seaked
for angels in those empty seats

You know this is your fault
A heart that never beats
A piano into cold
The piano of your soul
