The Perils Of Paul Poem by Sonny Rainshine

The Perils Of Paul

Rating: 4.8

He took up
tango,
mambo,
limbo.

He tried to learn
Swahili,
Danish,
Cherokee.

He learned to
fence,
channel his soul,
wrestle,
knit.

He dabbled in
voodoo,
judo,
I Ching,
Go.

He read
Melville,
Ayn Rand,
Kierkegaard,
Peanuts.

But he still can’t
get a date.

put a little bravado into it. if Paul's well-read, he has the opinions to back his beef. Or he can be intolerant and stubborn. Which is also a turn-on. Depends on the guy. Aggressiveness (occasional force) usually works. Such a turn-on. Unwilling to change. Girls vainly think they can morph a guy. And they want to soften him, please him, satisfy him. It's all so unfortunate. We are smarter than you, though, and live longer. Upside.
