The Pearl Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

The Pearl

Rating: 3.3

Oh, dauntless dreamer of the night
...Prepare to capture me
For i am awaiting underwater
...After a deep dive into the sea

I have gone pearl exploring
...The gem eveyone seeks or needs
You'll find me near the bottom half
...Near Neptunes briny weeds

I will hold the Trident safe
...And welcome your bubbling arms
Oh, dauntless dreamer of the night
...The sea has many charms

A Mermaid, perhaps, will greet you
...Her tail of scales will glow
And she will surely lead you to me
...Upon the sea-bottom-below

Joann what a delightfully wonderful thing to say about me! What a dear heart you are, indeed. Thank you so much! I am thanking you here, as it times out with ducks and things when i try to reach my mail! And Andy, as always, dear one, thank you! Theo

Your a pearl Theo...but there is a hidden pearl in everyone... sometimes it's just kept out of view and we just have to get to know the person to see the gem that they are...love your work...: O)
