The Peace Of Love Subdues Violence Poem by Roilynn brown

The Peace Of Love Subdues Violence

An urge to die, a passion to kill.
You and I know it is not GOD's will.

Destruction by disorder, emotion without acumen,
the brutal depravity of restless sin.

Intense violence, no desire for harmony,
this is not a state of being, for unity.

Power sought by hostility, recognized by inadequacy.
A state of stress, demanding a response, composed maliciously.

Violence requiring intervention, thought fair and just.
Influencing the basic concepts, and turns life into dust.

What can subdue man's violence and willful actions of discord?
Believing the spiritual willpower of love to create peace and concord.

Like a dove from above,
order, harmony and unity brought together brings love.

Violence is subdued, also the urge to die and the passion to kill,
for the Peace of Love is GOD's will.
