The Path To Light Poem by Susan Wall

Jesus you are the light, so many just want to shut you out.
The enemy has always has put up that fight
so many hate the light of truth.
Many feel that being self-righteous, is how mankind should be.
Oh how they walk a path a self-destruction, to their precious soul
not even knowing how this is sending them to hell.
We can yell hell is at the end of this path
yet many refuse to listen
for they believe they are free from sins faint.
Some will get in your face and say you’re a Christian freak
no lost soul I seek the truth that brings light.
I pray with a burning in my soul, God will bring you to the path
that is where eternal life lies.
Jesus open the eyes of those who need to follow
the light to Heavens eternity that have not seen.
