I lost my best friend thinking I knew the rest,
Making her like that was not part of the best,
She trusted me with all her secrets and mind,
With me being stupid I threw that all behind,
I should've treated her better,
But it was too late after what i found in that letter,
Your regrets, heartbreak, dreams and fears,
Which ended in my hands full of my tears,
I shouldn't of changed you into that person,
But now I think I've learnt my lesson,
With that letter in my hands,
It's as fragile as sea shells in the sand,
The only part of you I have left,
Is the part I shall never forget.
