The Pain Of The Rain

I lean against the window
and listen to the rain
I hear the tragedy told in the rhythem
The rain drowns my own tears
the heart wrenching lullaby leaves an ocean in my heart
I am going under
but don't help me just let me sink
The thunder is the last shot fired to end this pain
I am at peace now
In the hands of the storm
