The Orchard's Song Poem by Lola Romero

The Orchard's Song

Rating: 5.0

a whisper among the golden leaves.
a buzzing sound of a bumblebee,
the tired wind flows gracefully,
among the grasses, and twisted trees

a lonesome heart sits in the shade,
contemplating love's harsh charade,
a glistening tear shines in the light,
upon her rosy cheek tonight,
but there is no one in plain sight
no friendly shoulder to help her weep
but the orchard's song so lovely,
so soothing,
it keeps her gentle heart still moving

beautifull piece here...it's always good to have a safe haven when your heart is covered in shadows...great work.
