The Opposite Sex Poem by Audrey Heller

A man and a woman, can have a
friendship, with no strings attached.
They can be very fond of each other,
but not looking to be matched. Some
say it's impossible, but why can't it be
true? They just have a great relationship,
that didn't come, from out of the blue.
They've known each other for a very
long time and in each other, they
confide. It's like any good friend that
matters, there's nothing there to hide.
I don't listen to idle chatter, where they
say, it can never be. For I'm one of the
people, who has a friend of the opposite
sex and it works pretty good, for me!
