The One Lost Soul Poem by Iris Mista

The One Lost Soul

My heart so smothered in pain
It renews the deepest despair
Alienation, no part of life
It is all depression I regain

I have tried, struggled so hard
Now my eyes filled with tears
Forever alone, truly unloved
beginning till end, no new start

Endless road I am ought to go
With empty eyes, no one cares
I am worlds only loveless soul
Void days, an ever strung row

Why then, let me understand
Do I have a heart that feels
No longer a soul of stone
A breathing heart, alone I stand

The cruelty of my life it is
My existence pumped to life again
Yet only being on my arduous path
The one the world will never miss

Oh, I see them on all other roads
Living shared in togetherness
I am the one lost soul on earth
In limpid emptiness it floats
