The Old Timer Pallas'Cat - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

The Old Timer Pallas'Cat - Lincoln Park Zoo

I am the Pallas' cat. Behold
Unique me at Lincoln Park Zoo.
My kind are 12 million years old.
We have survived the eons through,
Mainly because we live up high
In Asian mountains remotely,
That we were not much bothered by
Threats until the humans did be,
And killed because the humans could,
Evolving in short time, all place
Spreading sick bad to leave no good.
Will we survive the human race?

Watching humans, I could be wrong,
But how you live, you won't last long.
