The Old Man Is Bitten Poem by RIC BASTASA

The Old Man Is Bitten

Rating: 5.0

the little boy says
he misses you

and then whispers
he needs money

you are stung but
keeps your calm

'boy' you tell him
' it is bad to ask money
from an old man'

' Grand pa' the young
boy argues

' what will you do
with your money? '

the old man is bitten
by Death who appears
as a young boy
to him
