The Ocean Poem by Jay Kaminski

The Ocean

Crash, click, clang
Waves slice like knives,
the white away from blue,
Crash, click, clang.

Boom, bump, swoosh
Tides like thunder,
thrash the swolen shore,
Boom, bump, swoosh.

Splash, splang, sploom
The salt becomes the air,
a topping to ones breath,
Splash, splang, sploom.

Poosh, phew, poof
Mist summits the shore,
Hands, yes, gleam of moisture,
Poosh, phew, poof.

Crash, click, clang
Tides they're always waving,
grinning us with their grace,
Crash, click, clang.
