The Obligation Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

All individuals have two faces to reflect
One is of deep inside and other is what we show in form of acts
We present ourselves as simple and ordinary
Take all precautions to show it as necessary

If mind is shaky
The heart shall respond not to become showy
Wise man shall balance between two
Sail through the waterway to prove true

Generally it is not practicable
We are always facing some kind of problems
That compels us to speak lies
And adopt ill conceivable way to try

The variance should be kept at minimum
There lies real wisdom
We are not sage or lone individual
We play a role that is called dual

Yet you may have some sort of satisfaction
That shall help in daily action
Such as earning honorable earning for family
And discharge the obligation happily
