The Nights Horrendous Poem by Lu Vernezze

The Nights Horrendous

The sky did thunder
The lightning was so bright
The rain came crashing
On that fateful night

The wind was howling
Just like the wolves were too
The nights horrendous
Without you

The candles flicker
The coles on the fire spark
The ice is cracking
It's getting all so dark

The clouds are shaking
The shadows follow through
The nights horrendous
Without you

The joker laughs
The queen of hearts cries
The magpie collects
His silver lies

The sleets on its way
The frost will be near too
The night's horrendous
Without you
